Happy Birthday Brooke!!! Next year we’ll celebrate and go to the movies or something :)

Β

Hola mi familia!!! πŸ™‚

!!!FELIZ CUMPLEANOS BROOK-A-LYNE!!! πŸ˜€

So this week was like super long again but at the same time it wasn’t…I honestly think it’s like a mission thing. You have SO much to do in SO little time but at the same time because you have SO much to do everything seems like it takes longer…. πŸ™‚ haha

So Monday was a good day. Just a relaxing pday. We didn’t do the family night like we normally do with the Rs and Ss, but today we are which we are happy about!!! πŸ˜€ We went by a few families and it actually turned into one of those, “Yea Heavenly Father knows better than we do and probably made it so we couldn’t have the FHE so that we could visit these families.” kinda things. πŸ™‚

Tuesday we did service for our apartment complex again, which we used to do with the other elders but now we don’t so…when the time comes and they give us gift cards to a random restaurant we get to be selfish because we’re the only ones doing the service. πŸ™‚ But we did service, then we found out that the Cleburne Library needs service done for them so we went by them to have Melville fill out the form so that they could background check him. I’ve done service there once before with Elder Young, and since Elder Young isn’t here the other elders don’t do service there anymore and so now we’re going to basically take over that. Anyway, so we’re going to help out now. πŸ™‚ Then we had lunch over at the M family. After that we went back to the apartment for dinner and then we got a message from A saying that he wanted to cancel the appointment we had (because that was the day he got home) and change it for Saturday. πŸ˜› So it actually kinda worked out in our favor. πŸ™‚ We were kinda very tight on time. So that freed us up a little. We went over to the Cs (the 1st or 2nd counselor in the bishopric) for a member lesson with them and it was good. 5 kids, with another on the way, all under the age of 10. πŸ™‚ It was a fun lesson!! hahahahaha And then we went over to L’s to teach her and help her and stuff. πŸ™‚

Thursday we had lunch at the Cleburne Library because they did a lunch for all the volunteers. πŸ™‚ It was good ‘ol mexican food!!! πŸ˜€ Enchiladas y frijoles y arroz!!!! hahahahaha πŸ™‚ It was good. And we were actually able to talk to a bunch of the other volunteers about what we do and stuff and we actually might get an investigator from Peru out of it!!! She was SO amazed that I could speak spanish and that I didn’t have an accent. πŸ™‚ lol if she only heard me try to roll my r’s!! πŸ™‚ hehe

We did service for the apartment again and then we did weekly planning. Then that night EVERYTHING punched… πŸ˜› even the spanish and english classes…..it’s like come on people!!! How many announcements do we have to make?!

Friday we went and did service for the Cleburne Library and they were SO happy. They were understaffed and had no one else volunteering. So they were happy we came to help. πŸ™‚ We basically just went around the library putting books away in the right order and stuff. πŸ™‚ And guess what I found!!! CATCHING FIRE AND THE HUNGER GAMES IN SPANISH!!!! πŸ˜€ I read the back covers and was amazed that I could actually understand it!!! LOL πŸ™‚ So that made me happy. πŸ™‚ hehe then that night we taught L again and she is SO excited for her baptism…we just don’t know if it’ll happen now because she NEEDS to go to church and get to know people and be committed to that. I have seen way too many other investigators who only go twice to church, which is the required amount before baptism, and then go straight less active after. I don’t like that.

Saturday we had correlation and that was alright. Not much correlating going on but oh well..

Then after that we went to K B’s baseball game to support him. πŸ™‚ The other elders aren’t doing like ANYTHING with the B family now either which is bad. They’re suppose to be baptized in May. But we went to support him and he was happy about it. Honestly if people just followed the commandments, especially the “Love the Lord thy God” and “Love thy neighbor as thyself” commandments, the world would be SUCH a better place. That night we went by a few people but were only able to see C and her little sister N. L wasn’t there. And they said they were going to church (even if C had to leave early and we had to find her sisters a ride home) but yea…they disappeared and won’t answer their phone so we don’t know what happened.

Then yesterday was good. πŸ™‚ We had ward council but nothing was going with that (I guess they talked about the B.. though because they haven’t been to church in forever…which is good

We taught the C.. family after church and then had dinner with the B..’. Then last night everything punched except we went over to the Bl’s because the other missionaries wouldn’t go over and teach them. So we watch a few mormon messages with them and then we also read some of the Book of Mormon with them. πŸ™‚ We’re trying to help them get that testimony and then keep it!

But yep. That was pretty much my week!!! πŸ™‚ Can’t remember what else happened. So I guess it wasn’t THAT busy of a week…but it was suppose to be and then stuff punched. It seemed busy looking back on it!! πŸ™‚ hahaha

And don’t worry about the coffee cake! I still think it’s good. I like it and still have some. πŸ™‚ Those cookies were incredible on the other hand!!! They were totally crumbled though. πŸ™‚ haha

And yea President said I couldn’t keep the book…. I wrote all the scriptures down that it used though so I can study those. But because it’s not part of our “missionary library” I couldn’t keep it. 😦 Sorry Grandma!

Tell Brittany good luck with NHS and with her play and with choir!!! That’s awesome if she gets to do the choir solo!!! She’s amazing and awesome!!! πŸ™‚ And sooooooo like me with the last minute essays and stuff. πŸ™‚ hehe

I love you to the moon and back forever and ever and always!! πŸ™‚

P.S. Thank you again for the package!!! I loved it!!! πŸ™‚ImageImage

Feliz Dia de Santo Patricio!!! (and that’s literal translation…I don’t think they celebrate St. Patrick’s Day… :) haha)

So this was probably the longest fast week of my mission. Does that make sense??? There was just SO much stuff going on, so it made it seem slow, and it made it seem like there wasn’t enough time in the week, which there wasn’t, and sadly time from one week doesn’t carry over to the next week, and yea. FUN WEEK!!! πŸ™‚ hahaha

So this week was a little more interesting because we visited some families at times that they normally couldn’t because of amazing spring break!!! πŸ˜€

On Monday we did our family home evening with the R’s and S’s and that was fun. God has blessed us with SO many things in this life, including those around us. πŸ™‚ But yea that night I learned how to make sopapilla cheesecake and it is DELICIOUS!!! πŸ˜€ I will definitely have to make that for y’all. πŸ™‚ hahaha and thankfully, WE HAD HORCHATA AGAIN!!! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

Tuesday we spent with the B’ for the first half. πŸ™‚ We did service for them at the Plaza because it was “change over” week. They have a play going EVERY weekend, and so when they have to change things in a week, it gets kinda crazy. πŸ™‚ They only have Monday to Friday afternoon. πŸ™‚ So we helped them out. πŸ™‚ We heard some CRAZY mission stories from Bro B and his brother too. They were hilarious!!! It made me keep thinking about, “What mission stories do I have??” I have a TON but at the same time I don’t think about them like they are “mission stories.” So yea. Hopefully I’ll have good ones when I come home. πŸ™‚ hahaha Then that night we went by a few different families.

Wednesday was fun!! So we planned for us to have district meeting (because that is what we were originally told) but then we found out that it was zone training… O.OΒ Β Β Β Β  the differences between district meeting and zone training include but are not limited to: 30 more miles of driving, 2 more hours of training, and it starts earlier and ends later. So….our plans were CRAZY!!! Heavenly Father was looking out for us because somehow all of our plans worked out…kinda. The appointments that we thought we wouldn’t be able to make ending up punching (y’all know that that means that they cancelled, right?) and then because we weren’t rushed everything else worked out. πŸ™‚ We went and taught the R family again that night and we did the Hastening the Work of Salvation videos. πŸ™‚ And btw, the one I like the most which is the most appropriate in my eyes for those not of our faith would be the first one, “I’ll go where you want me to go.” πŸ™‚ But we did that activity with them and it went amazingly!!! They were also excited to help us out with this “trip” we’re planning. πŸ™‚ I have no idea if I’ll be here, but it’s good anyway. πŸ™‚ We just found out that we are allowed to go to the temple to do baptisms with new converts and returning members!!! πŸ˜€ So we’re planning a temple trip for like the B’s, L C and his family, the S’s, and others. πŸ™‚ And now the R’s are gonna start telling people about it and helping us out. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Thursday we actually had an amazing planning day and session!!! πŸ™‚ Probably the most focused session that we’ve had so far. πŸ™‚ And the plans we made were inspired!! We went over to C’s house that night and she wasn’t there, but L and her mom were. So we talked to them and all that L was talking about was her baptism. And it was funny because she kept asking us when March 29th was because that was the original day that we told her she could be baptized on. But we went over that night to change it to the 12th of April so that her mom could go and so that there would be a little more time. πŸ™‚ And she was SO EXCITED!!!! πŸ˜€ and now that’s her projected date!! And another cool miracle that came! L’s mom doesn’t work Sunday mornings anymore so she can go to church!!! The only sad thing is that C has to work on Sunday mornings more often now….

Β Friday was an interesting day because we had a ton of plans and like NO time. But everything worked out. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ We ended up going over to the C’s and watched a church movie with them. πŸ™‚ After we gave L (the 18 year old daughter who has basically raised all of her little siblings since she was 11) a blessing because with what’s going on in that house right now, she needed one badly!! So just keep L R’s in your prayers!! And yes I know they have different last names, get use to it. πŸ™‚ But I gave her the blessing and I have NEVER felt so COMPLETELY inspired to say everything that I said. EVERY WORD came into my head so CLEARLY!!! I know it was a very spiritual experience for her and that she felt better afterwords, but it was something that helped me as well. I honestly felt like I was the Lord’s hands in that situation right then. And it was a powerful blessing too! And I have faith and I trust in the Lord that everything He inspired me to say will come to pass. πŸ™‚ But yea, that was only during the afternoon!! hahaha that night we went by L again and C and then also by a few other people. πŸ™‚

Saturday was a crazy day…haha

We started the day with ward correlation and then we had a few people we went by, including L. We went to the B’s around 2:30 because they were taking us to the Saturday session of stake conference. It was a bad day for them because of C and with the divorce getting closer and what not…so we went over to cheer them up. πŸ™‚ Sister B likes me and Β Elder M more because S and K get along with us better and we help them on days like that one. But yea, we left and went up to Weatherford and got there about 4 because that is when Bishop told Sister B we needed to be there…but that was a misunderstanding and yea that’s a long story in and of itself. We weren’t suppose to be there until 6ish.

The Saturday night session of conference was amazing!!!!!!! Elder Stoddard from the Seventy was there and he is hilarious!!! President and Sister Ames were there as well and everyone who spoke was amazing!!! I could tell the Spirit was speaking through them. πŸ™‚ It was all on Hastening the Work of Salvation. So yea….that’s a pretty big thing right now. πŸ™‚ And then that night Elder M wasn’t feeling too good so we had to go home and get his pain killers. The Zone Leaders offered for us to stay up there with them in their apartment so we wouldn’t have to drive home so late. But that didn’t happen. Oh!! And the saturday session is no longer the adult session. πŸ™‚ the youth were invited. πŸ™‚ And that was super cool!!! They shared all of their missionary experiences and stuff. Elder Stoddard also made all of us missionaries (all 30 of us who were there) go up so the whole stake could see us. It was a super cool and powerful experience. And by powerful I mean that the Spirit was super strong!!

Sunday we got a ride up to stake conference with the B’. The sunday session was alright. I definitely think the Saturday night is better because it takes more of a sacrifice to get there. After we stayed for mission prep because the B’ had to and they were our rides and it was a humbling experience. Even though I’ve been out as long as I have, I still have a lot of stuff to work on. I am FAR from a perfect or good missionary. But I know I’m improving so that’s all that matters. πŸ™‚ We ate lunch with the B’ and then that’s when we got the picture. πŸ™‚ That family truly is amazing!!! We’re coming to one of their shows when we come for spring break….it’s a must! So keep her number so that we can stay in touch and stuff. πŸ™‚ We had dinner with the H’s and found out they love Once Upon a Time and we had dinner that was ALL cooked, including the rolls, in a bamboo steamer. It was awesome!!! Y’all should look into it. Bamboo Steamers = Awesome Food. Then we had a cool lesson with the S’ on missionary work. πŸ™‚ Then we went over to the B’s and shared this movie about the making of the Salt Lake Temple because Sister B has decided that this June she wants to take her endowments out in that temple. πŸ™‚ And KC really liked it too. It’s amazing how siblings act when they are alone and the other one isn’t there. Did I ever act differently when Brittany and Brooke weren’t there?? hahahaha πŸ™‚

And yup!! That was my busy crazy not enough time week!!! πŸ™‚

That’s crazy that Paul Β is coming here!!! He’s going to love it!!! And I might serve around him!! That’s crazy that he’s old enough to go on a mission…. I still remember him as the small deacon he once was…hahaha πŸ™‚

And the Work of Salvation videos we share with members at dinner appointments or at just random appointments we make with them to help them out with their missionary work and the work of salvation. There isn’t really “missionary work” anymore. Everything’s combined into the work of salvation, like it should have been thought of as in the first place.

Elder M passed something this week, but the doctor doesn’t think it was a kidney stone. He still is having pain and yea…I’m being patient and praying for him but I’m ready for him to have that thing out of him just as much as he is! He won’t take his pain meds because he doesn’t want to be addicted and so he’s always irritable because of the pain. But don’t worry, I’m being nice and trying to help out as much as I can. But we found out he won’t go home for what he has because it’s too small.

So A and A are doing ok…we have to get on them this week for church and how they need to go to church!! B and J are ok I guess. We haven’t been able to see them for over a week. πŸ™‚

I haven’t made any more german pancakes yet. My toe is fine. My wrist is better and my jaw is fine. πŸ™‚ Thank for asking!!

And Sopapilla Cheesecake is basically homemade cheesecake that just has a bunch of cinnamon sugar on top and then you eat it with honey like you would a sopapilla. πŸ™‚ It’s SO good!!!

Β

But yep. That’s it. πŸ™‚ haha I love y’all to the moon and back forever and ever and always!!! πŸ™‚

Have a great week and be the example that Jesus would have you be. πŸ™‚ You can share the gospel more than you think just by being an example of what you believe. πŸ™‚

Love you!!

Elder Josh Andersen πŸ™‚ImageImage

What is this crazy thing you call, “Spring Break?” Doesn’t exist as a missionary. :) haha

So this week was eventful and weird and different but overall good and amazing!! Full of miracles and blessings. πŸ˜€

So first off, Monday was kinda a crazy/relaxing day. Elder Y and Elder M were running around EVERYWHERE trying to see as many people as possible before Elder Y left. His total time in Cleburne ended up being like 7 months, or 5 transfers. I’m gonna end up being here for at least 5 1/2 months, or 4 transfers. So yea…when you are in an area for THAT long you really get attached to certain people and really love them! But yea, while they were running around, we weren’t. πŸ™‚ haha we had an AWESOME Family Home Evening with the S family and the R family!! Sister S and Sister R are sisters, so they are actually really happy that we’re starting to do the FHE’s with both families because it’s getting the families to be closer.

Anyway, we had a movie playing (Ephraim’s Rescue) and then we just talked about the gospel and any questions that they really had. πŸ™‚ We also learned how to make my favorite hispanic dish!! Chicken Flautas!!! And then my favorite mexican drink!!! Horchata!!!! πŸ˜€ It’s the best!!! And I know you know about it because Buh has talked about it in her emails. πŸ™‚ hahahahaha But yea so we got a cooking lesson but also got a real lesson in which was good and it strengthened BOTH families!

Tuesday was pretty crazy too…. We ended up having to go to Burleson again to the CareNow there for M because we weren’t sure if he had kindey stones, it was just a hunch. And we went, the blood in his urine got worse so they ordered a CT scan for him. But that wasn’t until Wednesday morning. Tuesday night we went to a few different families, including the B’ who fed the other elders and us a snack of pizza. πŸ™‚ It was a snack because we couldn’t stay long enough to really eat with them. And Elder Y was again running around frantically like a chicken with his head cut off trying to see everyone before he got transferred. And then that night we kinda spent it with Elder Y and Elder M before we went to bed so that we could say goodbye and help him out however we could. He was overwhelmed…haha

And then dreaded Wednesday…yea I’ll admit. I didn’t like it. 😦 It was like losing a best friend when Elder Y left. He even said that to me! haha but he said he’s definitely going to try and make it to my homecoming! πŸ™‚ which that’ll be fun!! I already volunteered our house to him as a place he could stay…so….sorry about that. πŸ™‚ hehehehehe but that’s what you do for best friends right? Yea..anyway. So that wasn’t fun seeing him go and then ever since it’s been kinda weird…you’d have to know Elder Y, but he is just that kind of a person that he influences everyone and when he’s gone and that influence isn’t there, it’s weird . That night we went to mutual to check up on J because he’s been going every Wednesday and he was there and really enjoying it!! We can totally tell that he is breaking out of his shell!! But I’ll talk about that later. πŸ™‚ Then while we were there Sister S stopped us and asked us for a blessing and it was really cool!! We gave her the blessing (she wasn’t feeling good, ribs were super sore and she couldn’t move that easily because of it) and guess what!!! She was completely healed the next morning!!!!!! She woke up and felt great!!! So yea, that was AWESOME!!!! The Priesthood is AMAZING!!!! πŸ˜€ after mutual we went over by C again and taught them.

Thursday we had planning,Β  Friday we finished planning, a little bit, and then we did some mormon.org. πŸ™‚ I downloaded all the videos I could for Hastening the Work of Salvation in Spanish that I could! Cameron Barrus (one of the sons) is going to put them together for me and make me a DVD so I can show some of the Hispanic members. πŸ™‚ And btw, y’all should watch all of the videos on that website!!! Maybe an FHE? πŸ™‚ hahahaha then that night we had dinner with the Warren’s and that was good. They are super cool members!! Very involved in working with less active members which is always good. πŸ™‚ Then we had an awesome lesson with J!! B wasn’t there…but I think that was meant to be. πŸ™‚ J totally opened up to us!!! He really likes the church and the Book of Mormon!! We asked him if he noticed a change in his life or anything different because we come over and then he told us how he’s noticed that he’s less shy and that he’s been happier in life. We can tell he’s changing for the better and he loves it too!!! It’s awesome what the gospel does for people!!! Then we went over to the C’s and taught them a lesson and then we went to C and taught her and her sisters again. Oh!! And L, C’s little sister who isn’t baptized, really want to be baptized and we are planning on having a baptism for her the beginning of April ish. πŸ™‚ So just keep that in the back of your mind. πŸ™‚

Saturday we had ward correlation and then we went by a few different people, mainly just trying to find people..haha.

Then Sunday…stupid daylight savings time. πŸ˜› Arizona has got to be the BEST state because we don’t do stupid daylight savings time!!! WE LOST AN HOUR OF SLEEP!!! Well, we actually lost more because we actually had to wake up earlier because of Ward Council… Church was good yesterday. No one came though…but it was good. πŸ™‚ We set up some good stuff with some members for throughout the week. πŸ™‚ After we had lunch with the B’ and an AMAZING lesson with them!!! They are SO excited for sharing the gospel with their friends and family!!! They didn’t really have too many ideas of what to say, so that’s what we helped them with. πŸ™‚ I didn’t realize how I have this “missionary mindset” right now and so I think about how to tie ANYTHING back to the gospel. So we helped them out with that and helped them start to get that mindset. πŸ™‚ Then we taught the J’s…we’re trying to help them be more active cuz that ain’t happening right now. πŸ˜› Then we taught A again and R finally!!! Then we taught C’s mom finally too!!! It’s been forever since we’ve talked to her…but it was good because now she knows that Lwants to be baptized and she’s going to try and make it to it whenever it is!! πŸ™‚ And then we went over to the C’s because it was A’s birthday, one of the daughters there that we work with. πŸ™‚

But yep!!! That was my week. πŸ™‚ Kinda blah, kinda full of medical stuff, kinda not. πŸ™‚ It was a good week though. Especially for being a transfer week where nothing happened to me! That’s always weird for me because it’s like, “What do we do?” but it was good this time. πŸ™‚ Just weird without Elder Y…and yes, I miss that guy!!

I love you to the Moon and Back Forever and Ever and Always!!! πŸ™‚

Love Elder Josh Andersen πŸ™‚

Β

Blessed to be in Cleburne for another 6 weeks! :)

Hola Familia!!! πŸ™‚ Ok so I’ll explain why I’m on earlier and stuff. πŸ™‚ Because the library here in Cleburne is stupid, the Barrus’ have graciously offered their Plaza theatre computers for us to use during Pday. πŸ™‚ I love this family!!! But we have to email from 8 to 10 because the Plaza opens at 10 and so we can’t use the computers then.

But yea, so this morning we got the call and nothing is happening to us!!! πŸ™‚ I get to stay in Cleburne for another 6 weeks and work with the people here more!! πŸ˜€ Which makes me excited because there is a lot that we can still do here. πŸ™‚ Yesterday after fasting I didn’t “know” for a fact that I was staying, but I didn’t have the feeling like I was leaving like I’ve had in my other areas. Oh! And Elder Y is going to Flower Mound!!! πŸ˜€ That was part of my greenie area!!! πŸ™‚ So I’m excited for him. πŸ™‚

So now for my week because if I don’t do it soon then I won’t be able to remember because I don’t have my other planner with me, because we started a new planner today! BTW new planners are always super fun but SUPER weird too. It’s weird that another 6 weeks just like disappeared!

So Monday we went and had a family night with the S’s again. They actually told us that we couldn’t (time crunch), but we had some of their dishes from missionaries before me so I figured we’d return them because they’re getting ready to move. πŸ˜› And no I’m not happy about that!! But we went over to give the dishes back and then they let us in, then they let us talk for a bit, and then IT happened……

M got sick. And I’m not just saying sick, like SICK!!! Worse than my food poisoning. He went to the bathroom and came back a while later and was pale. His lips were even pale! So we got him home as fast as possible and I called the other elders over so we could give him a blessing. Well first we just thought that he had a stomach bug and stuff. Well….around 11pm we found out differently. The other elders ended up leaving at 10:30 (rules) and so we didn’t give M a blessing. Well around 11pm Elder M was in a TON of pain. Like so much pain that he wasn’t crying because it was hurting so much for him. So I had to call President and he had the area doctor call us and talk to Elder M. Well, the pain just stayed around until about 1am and I couldn’t do much for him. He wouldn’t let me be in the bedroom at the same time and he was just laying on the ground in pain. So I just listened to him wailing in pain (no joke, wailing is the way I’d describe it) until 1 when he finally fell asleep. So then I went to sleep. And then the next morning he felt better, kinda, but wasn’t really allowed to do much. So the other elders came over to study with me and stuff and then when we had lessons I went out with Elder Ma and taught with him. Around dinner he finally felt better again and so we went by a few different people. πŸ™‚ BTW I have never prayed SO EARNESTLY for someone. It was a very, humbling, experience because after what happened to Elder M, my prayers have been a LOT more sincere and heart felt, which they should have always been. But yea, that was a roller coaster of a day!!! Like the video you sent me of Screaming, like that. πŸ™‚

Wednesday we had district meeting and then we had a blah afternoon to take it easy for Elder M. We ended up just going out to Alvarado (which is like 15 miles away from Cleburne….we had to burn miles or else we’d lose them!! because M was sick we didn’t use too many) and trying to find members on this list that Bishop gave us. We then went to the S’s really quick and shared a lesson with them really quick. Then we had dinner with the H’s again and that was fun. πŸ™‚ They are a fun family too!! I am really happy I’m staying another 6 weeks so I can spend more time working with the people here that I love!! Anyway, then after them we went to mutual to teach the Young Women a lesson about the Plan of Salvation. It was good, and what was even cooler was the fact that J went to mutual again!!! πŸ˜€ So that was a good night.

Thursday we had weekly planning, but once again it didn’t happen like it should have. Weekly planning is like the most important thing of the week, and yet it’s SO hard to do!!! It’s not hard, but just the situation itself is hard. hahaha anyway… So we ended up going to Alvarado again that day and we actually found some of the members we were looking for!! And we found a Texas talker…. ever heard of one of those? Well lets just say that they talk, SO MUCH!!! They make how much Brittany talks look like nothing! πŸ™‚ hehehe just kidding Britt! Anyway, we talked to him and then we had to hurry home to Cleburne for our dinner appointment. And that was cool!! We went to an Italian restaurant and it was delicious!!! And the members we ate with were the first temple president and matron for the Lubbock Texas temple!!! So they were knowledgeable and we had good conversations. πŸ™‚ And then we had to rush to a few of our different appointments. πŸ™‚ But everything ended up working out that night. πŸ˜€

Friday we ended up doing weekly planning during our companionship study because we didn’t have time to do it any other time. And then we ended up going to Alvarado again. πŸ™‚ haha we didn’t have too many people open up to us though. But we tried. πŸ™‚ We were running out of miles though and so we were heading back. Well, the other elders were also in Alvarado (burning miles) and they found someone who had buffalo….so of course they called us up, picked us up (yes they had that many miles that they could come find us, pick us up, take us to the buffalo, and then take us back!) and then we saw the buffalo!!! They are cool looking. πŸ™‚ hahaha and then we went and had dinner at Taco Bell because we didn’t have much time to go back home and make anything. And then we had a lesson with B and Jo. πŸ™‚ They are progressing so well!!! But they didn’t come to church this week, so I don’t know what’s up with that… πŸ˜› But yea that was good!!! And then we went to the Ts family. πŸ™‚ If I haven’t talked about them, it’s a family of all girls, so we teach them outside usually unless some random guy is over, and they are less active, but they have a daughter who is 9 who wants to be baptized. πŸ™‚ Well we taught them and they actually did come to church finally!!! We’ve been working with C, the 19 year old, to try and get her to get work off Sunday’s so she can go to church….we tried but she won’t ask for time off. But C wants to go to church too, all the girls do, and so she finally asked and got it off!!! YES!!! But yea so we went over and taught them. And that night was SUPER nice weather, not like right now.

BTW it’s snowing right now here in Cleburne. It didn’t snow yesterday, but it is snowing right now and our car said it was 17 degrees outside. O.o yea…Texas is crazy. hahaha πŸ™‚

Saturday we had ward correlation and then we went by a few different people and then we started our fast. President asked us to do a special fast, or in other words, actually fast for 24 hours and truly prepare ourselves for it, so we ended up doing a lunch at 3ish so that we could start our fast at 4 because we were going to have dinner with the B’ at 4 on Sunday. Well, it was fun to do a full 24 hour fast again!!! Super spiritual. πŸ™‚ I definitely am going to do that more often, and do it with a good purpose and plan it out beforehand and stuff. Be prepared to fast!! πŸ™‚ That’s the way to do it. πŸ™‚ But then that night all of our plans had to get pushed to the side because M had to go to the urgent care in Burleson…and that was fun. I studied scriptures and listened to Elf play in the waiting room. “Buddy the elf, what’s your favorite color?” πŸ™‚ hahahahaha and then Elder M found out that he most likely has kidney stones…so that was the reason for the horrible pain, and the continuous pain since then. So now he is on some pain killers (which he won’t take cuz he’s heard bad stories about them….btw his entire family has drug problems) and then other antibiotics and those made him hallucinate. Yea…that was weird!!!

Today we have an awesome FHE planned out with the S and R family! (the wives are sisters) and yea that should be awesome!!! πŸ™‚ That’s all we have really planned for today though. πŸ™‚

Oh so the only thing that’s gonna be interesting now because of this transfer is that the next transfer is the 16th of April…so right before my birthday and I will definitely be transferred then. So…I’ll probably just have to celebrate an early birthday or something?? I don’t know. We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it. πŸ™‚

Oh and I did get the package!!! Thank you!!! and no it didn’t get me trunky, and yes I’m excited to go. And if we go I’m fine with going for a few days if we go to the fancy hotel. πŸ™‚ hehe we can just do the thing that we did last time where we just extend the tickets afterwards and get the passes for uber cheap! πŸ˜€ hahaha and I loved the videos y’all sent. They were fun. πŸ™‚ I really liked them. And don’t worry, they don’t make me trunky. I like seeing y’all happy and doing stuff. πŸ™‚ And hearing your voices is fun. πŸ™‚

Well I love you to the moon and back forever and ever and always! πŸ™‚
